Day 1 Sun Feb 19 Canada - Israel

Day 2 Mon Feb 20 Tel Aviv
Upon arrival at Ben Gurion airport, you will be met by Smile and a Sunworld Tours representative and drive to the Biblical Garden of Neot Kedumim, where you will see many different trees mentioned in the Bible, an olive press, and a threshing floor. Enjoy a biblical lunch. Enjoy a panoramic tour of Tel Aviv on your way to the ancient seaport of Jaffa and the renovated Old City. Dinner and Overnight in Tel Aviv or area
Day 3 Tue Feb 21 Coastal Plain
Drive along the ancient "Way of the Sea" to Caesarea to explore the ancient Roman ruins. Proceed to the Muhraqa, overlooking the Jezreeel Valley and where we commemorate the battle of Elijah with the prophets of Baal. Stop at a Druze village for lunch. On to visit Megiddo, Armageddon, the Fortress City of King Solomon later built upon by King Herod. Visit Nazareth and Nazareth Village to see the Reconstruction of ancient Nazareth where Jesus grew up. Dinner and Overnight by the Sea of Galilee
Day 4 Wed Feb 22 Galilee – Golan Heights
Visit Mt. of Beatitudes where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount. Travel up to the Upper Galilee to visit Hazor (optional stop at 7 spices farm on the Upper Jordan). Tour Tel Dan Nature Reserve. Golan Heights to the Banias, site of the ancient Caesarea Philippi. End the day at Mizpe Ofir for a view of the Sea of Galilee and get understanding of the importance of the Golan Heights for Israel. Dinner and Overnight by the Sea of Galilee
Day 5 Thu Feb 23 Sea of Galilee
Have a boat ride on the Sea of Gailee and see the Boat Museum in Nof Genosar. Proceed to Capernaum for a service by the remains of Peter’s House. Continue to Magdala, a newly excavated site, home of Mary of Magdala. End the day at Gideon’s Springs by the Gilboa Mts. Dinner and Overnight by the Sea of Galilee
Day 6 Fri Feb 24 Jordan Valley – Bethlehem
Travel to Beit Shean, a magnificent ancient city of historical ruins from the Roman and Byzantine periods. Continue to the Kaser El Yehud Baptism site. Travel up to Jerusalem for a view of the Holy City of Jerusalem. Continue to Bethlehem to see Shepherd’s Field and the Church of the Nativity. Dinner and Overnight in Jerusalem
Day 7 Sat Feb 25 Jerusalem
Start the day at the Mount Olives to enjoy a view of the City of Jerusalem. Walk down the Palm Sunday path to the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations.View the Temple Mount and visit the Western Wall. Explore the Jewish Quarter and the colorful alleys and markets. Time for shopping in the old city markets. End the day with a Tour and communion at the Garden Tomb. Dinner and Overnight in Jerusalem
Day 8 Sun Feb 26 Jerusalem
Start the day at the City of David, the oldest inhabited part of Jerusalem (the Canaanite Tunnels). Enter the Old City of Jerusalem to Visit Davidson Centre and see the Southern Wall Steps. Travel to visit Herodion. Afternoon for shopping in Jerusalem.

Day 9 Mon Feb 27 Dead Sea - Eilat
This morning travel down to the Dead Sea Area via the Judean Wilderness. Visit Qumran, the center of the Essenes who wrote the Dead Sea Scrolls. Float in the therapeutic, salt mineral water of the Dead Sea, the lowest area in the world. Visit Massada, the fortress built by King Herod. Continue to the Red Sea Resort of Eilat.

Day 10 Tue Feb 28Eilat – Optional Tour of Petra
Free day in Eilat or enjoy a full day optional tour to the fantastic World Heritage site of Petra in Jordan.

Day 11 Wed Mar 1Eilat – Tel Aviv
Depart Eilat to visit the Tabernacle in the Desert at Timna Reserve. Drive to Tel Aviv via the Negev Desert, with views of Mitzpe Ramon, Beer Sheva and Burial site of Ben Gurion at Kibbutz Sde Boker.
