Day 1: Wed March 30, 2022        Overnight Flight

Depart JFK New York International airport.

Day 2: Thu March 31, 2022         Tel Aviv (Unlimited National Park Tickets)

Welcome to Israel!  Upon arrival at Ben Gurion International Airport you will be met by a representative to assist you through baggage and customs procedures and to meet with your guide and driver. Transfer to your hotel in Tel Aviv for a welcome dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Fri April 1, 2022                   Shephelah - Negev - Dead Sea

After Breakfast travel to visit Tel Bet Shemesh, Azekah and the Valley of Elah , where the bible stories come alive. Continue to Lachish and Mamshit (Camel ride at Negev Camel Ranch Dimona) Negev Desert. Continue to visit Arad or Beersheba (Daylight permitting). End the day at the Dead Sea, the lowest area in the world. Enjoy a float in the salt mineral waters of the Dead Sea at your resort spa and beach. Dinner and overnight by the Dead Sea. 

Day 4: Sat April 2, 2022                Dead Sea - Jordan Valley

After Breakfast, ride the cable car up to the Fortress of Massada (8-945am) to explore the remains of the palace of Herod the Great. Continue to Qumran (945-1130am), where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Travel to Jericho for a lookout from Mitzpe Yericho Dead Sea Balcony. (1130-1300). Eat and shop at Jimmy’s (1300-1500). Visit Qasr El Yahud on the Jordan River (1500-1600). Travel north along the Jordan Valley to the Sea of Galilee. Dinner and overnight at the Sea of Galilee. 

Day 5: Sun April 3, 2022                  Sea of Galilee

After breakfast, ascend Mt. Arbel where you can see a beautiful view of the life and works of Jesus. Continue to Magdala, the newly excavated archaeological site, home of Mary Magdalene on the shores of the Sea of Galilee.  Visit the Beit Yigal Museum at Kibbutz Ginosar to see the ancient Jesus Boat. Boat Ride on the Sea of Galilee. End the day with a view from the top of the Mt. of Beatitudes (natural inlet of Sower’s Cove?). Dinner and overnight in the Galilee.

Day 6: Mon April 4, 2022              Sea of Galilee - Galilee

After breakfast, visit Capernaum to see the remains of Peter’s House and where Jesus chose to center His ministry and the Church of The Twelve Apostles (830-1030). Enjoy a St. Peter’s Fish Lunch (1100-1200). Visit Kursi or Hippus (1215 – 1330). Continue to Nazareth to enjoy a view from the Ridge at Mt. Precipice and possibly visit the Church of Annunciation (1400-1700). Dinner and overnight in the Galilee  

Day 7: Tue April 5, 2022           Haifa – Coastal Plain - Jerusalem

This morning travel through the Galilee to visit Beit She’arim (8-9). Continue to the port city of Haifa to visit the German cemetery and view the Bahai Gardens (9-10). Travel along the Mediterranean coast to visit Caesarea Maritima with time to stop for lunch (1100-1300). Ascend up to Jerusalem to visit the Israel Museum (1430-closing). Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem. 

Day 8: Wed April 6, 2022              Jerusalem – Old City 

Start the day in Jerusalem with a visit to the Davidson Center and the Western Wall. Ascend up to the Temple Mount. Take the Pilgrimage Road to Hezekiah’s Tunnel and the Pool of Siloam at the City of David. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem. 

Day 9: Thu April 7, 2022                  Jerusalem - Bethlehem

After breakfast this morning visit the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu on Mt. Zion. Continue to Beit Sahour in Bethlehem for lunch at the Grotto. Visit the Shepherd’s Field and Cave and continue to the Church of Nativity with service at St. Jerome’s Chapel of the Innocents. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem. 

Day 10: Fri April 8, 2022                Jerusalem

Early morning walk down the Kidron Valley. Continue to visit the Dome of Ascension, Church of Pater Noster and Beit Phage ending at the Mount of Olives Lookout. Then visit Dominus Flevit and stop for lunch at the All Nations Café. Visit Orson Hyde Park and Mary’s Tomb and Grotto. End the day at the Church of All Nations at Gethsemane with private service at the garden.  Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 11: Sat April 9, 2022               Jerusalem

This morning, enter the Christian Quarter of the old city to visit the Sisters of Zion Convent – Ecce Homo (8-9). Continue to the BYU Jerusalem Center (930-12). Stop for lunch near the Church of the Redeemer (1230-130). Continue to visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher (130-300). End the day at the Garden Tomb for private service.  Farewell dinner and overnight in Jerusalem. 

Day 12: Sun April 10, 2022           Departure

Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
