Arrive Tel Aviv .Upon arrival at Ben Gurion airport you will be met by Sunworld Tours representative and travel to Tel Aviv. Visit Jaffa (Joppa) where Peter stayed with Simon the Tanner. Dinner and overnight in Tel Aviv area
Day 3 Fri Feb 16 Coastal Plain - Haifa
Drive along the Mediterranean Coastto Caesarea, the site where Paul defended himself before Festus and King Agrippa. Tour the aqueduct and the restored Roman amphitheater. Proceed to Haifa and the Muhraqa where Elijah challenged and defeated the 400 prophets of Baal. Continue to Meggido the fortress city of King Solomon and where the final Battle of Armageddon will take place. Dinner and overnight in Haifa
Day 4 Sat Feb 17 Galilee / Sea of Galilee
Drive through the Galilee with a view of Nazareth along the way to the Sea of Galilee. Stop for a view of the Sea of Galilee from Mt. Arbel. Visit the newly excavated site of Magdala. Continue to visit Capernaum, where Jesus chose to center His Ministry. Visit the 2000 year old Jesus Boat Museum at Kibbutz Ginosar and sail on the Sea of Galilee on a wooden boat with music and worship. Dinner and overnight by the Sea of Galilee.
Day 5 Sun Feb 18 Sea of Galilee / Golan Heights
Drive up the Golan Heights to the Banias, site of the ancient Caesarea Philippi where Peter confessed Jesus as the Christ. Continue to Korazim, one of the cities Jesus pronounced judgment on for rejecting Him and His ministry. Continue to the Mount of Beatitudes where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount. (Possible visit to Katzrin Biblical Park or Tel Dan on this day as well if you would like). Dinner and overnight by the Sea of Galilee.
Day 6 Mon Feb 19 Jordan Valley - Jerusalem
After breakfast visit Beth Shean and tour the excavations that have revealed Israel’s largest ruins of a Roman City. Enjoy a scenic drive down the Jordan Valley on the way to Jerusalem.Stop at Kaser El Yehud Baptismal site at the Jordan. Enter Jerusalem as a pilgrim and enjoy the first glimpse of the City of Jerusalem from Mt. Scopus. Travel through the New City of Jerusalem to see the Menorah at the Knesset the Israeli Parliament. Visit Israel Museum to see the Shrine of the Book where the Dead Sea Scrolls are displayed and the Model of Jerusalem. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 7 Tue Feb 20 Jerusalem - Bethlehem
Enter the Old City through the Zion Gate and walk through the resorted Jewish Quarter to the Western (“Wailing “) Wall. Visit the Davidson Centre to walk on the steps where Jesus walked in and out of the temple on a daily basis and where He drove the buyers and sellers out. Enjoy a walk through the Old City alleys and colorful markets. Visit Moshe KempinskiShorashim the book store in the Jewish Quarter. In the Afternoon spend some time at the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial and visit or view of Bethlehem. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 8 Wed Feb 21 Jerusalem
Begin the day by driving to Mt. of Olives to view the “Golden City”. This is where Jesus began His Palm Sunday journey into Jerusalem. Walk down the Palm Sunday to visit the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus spent the night in prayer and the Church of All Nations. SeetheFortress of Antoniawhere Jesus was tried byPontius Pilate. Walk theVia Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulture. Stop to visit the Pool of Bethesda and theChurch of Ste. Ann. End the day at the Garden Tomb for a tour and a communion. In the evening Night out to see the Tower of David Light Show. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 9 Thu Feb 22 Jerusalem - Free Day
Free day in Jerusalem. Breakfast and dinner at the Hotel. Dinner and Overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 10 Fri Feb 23 Jerusalem - Eilat
Drive via the Jordan Valley to the Dead Sea. Stop at Qumran, the site of the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls.
Visit Massada, the fortress built by King Herod. Ride the cable car to the top to explore the excavations. Take a dip in the therapeutic, salt mineral water of the Dead Sea. Drive to Eilat, the Red Sea Resort. Dinner and overnight in Eilat
Day 11 Sat Feb 24 Optional Tour of Petra - Jordan
Free day in Eilat or an Optional tour to Petra. Explore the Rose Red City of Petra in Jordan. After the tour, transfer to
Arava border to cross back to Israel. Dinner and 0vernight in Eilat
Day 12 Sun Feb 25 Eilat / Tel Aviv
Free morning in Eilat. In the afternoon drive back to Tel Aviv. Dinner and overnight in Tel Aviv
