Journey to the Land of the Bible October 12 – 23, 2026

Day  1  Mon Oct 12                      Departure
Depart Edmonton for Israel.  Overnight en route 

Day  2  Tue Oct 13            Arrive Israel  - Coastal Plain
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by a representative in Israel. Drive via Tel Aviv to visit Jaffa, the ancient port city, and check out the house of Simon the Tanner, where Peter received a vision from the Lord, followed by a view of the Tel Aviv/Jaffa coast. Visit Dugit Outreach, an evangelistic outreach center located in the heart of Tel Aviv. Functioning as a coffee shop and outreach center, Dugit provides a friendly environment where Israelis can hear about Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah & receive teaching. Travel along the Coastal Plain of the Mediterranean Sea to Netanya for dinner. Overnight Residence Netanya or similar

Day  3  Wed Oct 14        Coastal Plain – Mt. Carmel 
Travel to Caesarea, the port city built by King Herod, where the Apostle Peter baptized Cornelius. Then on to Mt Carmel, where Elijah challenged the prophets of Baal.  View the port city of Haifa. Dinner and overnight in the area.

Day  4  Thur Oct 15                      The Galilee
We begin the day visiting the Jezreel Valley and Megiddo, often referred to as the place of the battles. In this location, “the kings of the whole world” will be gathered “for the battle on the great day of God Almighty” (Rev 16:14). We then journey to Nazareth to experience a re-enactment of a village at the time of Jesus. We will visit Mount Precipice, the site where Jesus was rejected by the people of Nazareth. Continue for a view of the Sea of Galilee and to your hotel in Tiberias for dinner and overnight. Emily’s Boutique Hotel or similar

Day  5  Fri  Oct 16                         Sea of Galilee 
After breakfast, visit Magdala,
the small fishing village where Mary Magdalene was delivered from seven demons. We will visit the site of the Miracle of the Fish and Loaves and Seven Springs at Tabgha. Drive to Capernaum to see the remains of Peter’s House and the synagogue. No other city in Galilee has greater importance or a closer connection to Jesus’ ministry than Capernaum. He performed more miracles and preached more sermons in Capernaum than anywhere else. We will sail on the Sea of Galilee, where Jesus performed His dramatic miracle of walking on water, with music and worship. Dinner and overnight in Tiberias. 

Day  6  Sat Oct 17                        Jordan Valley - Dead Sea 
After breakfast, we will visit Penial Fellowship Messianic Congregation for a Shabbat worship service.  We will leave the Galilee region and head down to the Dead Sea, travelling along the Jordan Valley. On the way, we will visit Qasr El Yehud, the place where John baptized Jesus in the Jordan River.  We will also perform baptisms for any participant who wishes to be baptized in the Sea of Galilee or the Jordan River. Dinner and overnight in the Dead Sea area.
 Kibbutz Kalia guesthouse or similar.   

Day  7  Sun Oct 18                        Massada – Jerusalem  
After spending free time floating in the Dead Sea, we will visit Masada, the ancient fortress and site of the Jews’ last stand against the Romans after the fall of Jerusalem in 70 CE.  Then we will visit Ein Gedi. The craggy rocks and mountainous surroundings served as an ideal hiding place for King David as he fled King Saul. King David wrote several of his Psalms in Ein Gedi. We will travel via Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered and the Judean Wilderness up to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight. Prima Vera Hotel or similar

Day  8  Mon Oct 19                                    Jerusalem
No city has more biblical history or prophecy associated with it than Jerusalem. Visit the City of David and the Pool of Siloam, where many of the stories in biblical Jerusalem took place. Enter the Old City of Jerusalem through Zion Gate to pray at the Western Wall, considered the holiest site in the world.  We then visit the Jewish Quarter, followed by the Temple Institute, where religious Jews are taking practical steps in their preparations to build the Third Temple. We then visit the Garden Tomb, the possible location for the burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus.  After dinner, we will meet with Rabbi Tuly Weisz, founder of Israel 365, for a perspective on the West Bank. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem

Day  9  Tue Oct 20                                     Jerusalem 
After breakfast then we visit the most disputed piece of real estate in the world, the Temple Mount (Mt. Moriah).  Ezekiel foretells that a future millennial temple will be rebuilt on this site. Continue to the Christian quarter and the Way of the Cross to see the Pools of Bethesda. Travel to the Mt. of Olives, the place where Jesus would often teach His disciples and where He will return in the last days as King of Glory. From there, we will walk down to the Garden of Gethsemane. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem. Dinner and Overnight in Jerusalem

Day  10  Wed Oct 21                                 Jerusalem
Start the day with a visit to Yad Vashem the Holocaust Museum and Memorial site, so that we might learn from the memory and meanings of the Holocaust. The Lord said in the prophets that ″ to them will I give in my house and within my walls a memorial and a name (a ΄yad vashem)... that shall not be cut off. ″Continue to Government Hill to view the Israeli Parliament and visit the Scroll of the Book at the Israel Museum. After supper, we will be entertained by an impressive light show at the Tower of David. Overnight in Jerusalem.    

 Day  11  Thu Oct 22                                  Free Day
Free day in Jerusalem – Optional Opportunities: Volunteer at Bridges for Peace; or visit Bethlehem; or visit the Western Wall Tunnels. After dinner, we will meet with a wounded IDF soldier and get his perspective on the war in Gaza. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.


Day 12 Fri Oct 23                                       Departure
Transfer to the airport for departure
