The Cornerstone for All Nations Israel Tour

 

Day  1  Tue Feb  16         Depart Canada

Depart Canada ( Winnipeg). Overnight en-route

Day  2  Wed Feb 17        Tel Aviv

Upon arrival at Ben Gurion Airport our representative will meet the group to assist with airport formalities and lead the group to the tour Guide and Bus to start the tour of the Holy Land of Israel.  The tour will start with a short panoramic tour of the Mediterranean at the port city of Jaffa, home of Simon the Tanner. Overnight in Tel Aviv or area

Day  3 Thur Feb 18         Coastal Plain – Galilee
This morning travel along the Mediterranean coast to Caesarea, the important port city and capital of the Roman Period and visit the famous Amphitheatre. Enjoy a view of Haifa port and the Bahai Gardens in the city of Haifa. Visit the Muhraqa, the site where Elijah defeated the Prophets of Baal and view the Jezreel Valley and Druze villages. Travel to Meggido the site of the final Battle of Armageddon. Travel through the Galilee to Nazareth the childhood home of Jesus to see the Church of Annunciation and view the area from Mt. Precipice. Dinner and overnight.

 

Day  4  Fri Feb 19            The Galilee   - Sea of Galilee

Today explore the region where Jesus chose to center his ministry. Visit Cana, site of the wedding miracle. Continue via the Mt of Transfiguration and the Jezreel Valley to the Sea of Galilee. Visit Tabgha, site of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fish on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. Visit Magdala and Capernaum, with the remains of Peter’s house and the Ginosar Boat Museum. Stop for lunch to try the St. Peter's Fish. Travel to the Mount of Beatitudes where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount. Enjoy  a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee with music and worship. Travel to the Yardenit to have a baptismal service in the Jordan River for those wishing to be baptized as Jesus was in the Jordan. Dinner and overnight in Nazareth

Day  5  Sat Feb 20                        Jordan Valley – Jerusalem 
Drive down the Jordan Valley to visit Beth Shean and tour the excavations that have revealed Israel’s largest ruins of a Roman City. Travel via views of Kaser El Yehud baptism site and the city of Jericho.Stop for a Visit at Genesis Land,for some ancient biblical hospitality and to experience a camel ride.Make the ascent up to Jerusalem through the Judean Wilderness passing Bethany for a view of Jerusalem from Mt. Scopus. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem

Day  6  Sun  Feb 21                      Dead Sea - Massada
Travel down to the lowest area in the World the Dead Sea. Ascend by cable car to visit Masada, the mountain fortress built by King Herod. Drive by the Oasis of Ein Gedi. Visit Qumran, the site of the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls. End the day with time to enjoy the salt mineral waters of the Dead Sea. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem

Day  7  Mon Feb 22                      Bethlehem - Jerusalem 
Travel to Bethlehem to visit Shepherd’s Fields, The Church of Nativity and Manger Square. Visit the Israel Museum to see the Model of First Century Jerusalem and Scroll of the Book. Enjoy the new city of Jerusalem including a visit to the Friends of Zion museum and Machane Yehuda Market. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem

Day  8  Tue Feb 23                       Jerusalem 
Visit Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial and Museum. Enter the old city for a visit to the Western Wall and Southern Steps of the Temple.  View Temple Mount and Visit the Western Wall Tunnels and Herodian Quarter. Visit the Jewish Quarter and explore the colorful markets. Visit with the Ministry of Tourism. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem 

 

 

 

 

Day  9 Wed Feb 24                       Jerusalem
Today we following the footsteps of Jesus during his last days in Jerusalem. Start with a visit on the Mt Of Olives, walk down the Palm Sunday Path to the Garden of Gethemane. Continue to Mt Zion to see the Room of the Last Supper and King David's Tomb and pray at St. Peter in Gallicantu. Enter the Christian Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem to walk the Via Dolorosa including the Pools of Bethesda and Church of the Holy Sepulchre. End the day with a tour and communion of the Garden Tomb. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem

Day  10  Thur Feb 25                    Jerusalem – FREE DAY
Free Day – to explore the old and new city markets. Farewell Dinner and Overnight in Jerusalem 

Day 11 Fri  Feb 26                        Departure
Depart to Canada
